Johnathon is the middle child of Jeff and Paula...Little Brother to sister Stephanie...and Big Brother to bubby Matthew.

Johnathon was 7 years, 4 months, and 3 1/2 weeks old when an Angel guided him to Heaven just prior to a freak accident.

Johnathon had been playing on a steele rod which stood about two feet off the ground and weighed approximately 230-250 lbs. When he was told to get down, he did a summersault off of it...fell on his back...looked at his dad and smiled...and then the UNTHINKABLE happened...the rod fell, landing on his head!

Johnathon had always been one of these children who screamed and hollered, like the sky was caving in, on even the most minor of boo boos...It use to drive me crazy because I never knew if he was seriously hurt or not until I inspected him thoroughly...there is no way he would have fallen on his back and smiled...NO WAY!

It is my belief that when Johnathon looked over at his dad, he saw his angel...it is my belief that his angel was either right beside of, or right behind, his dad...it is my belief that Johnathon saw his angel and knew......he knew...... that he was going to a place that we can only hope and pray to be oneday...to a place called Heaven...to a place called HOME...

We are proud to announce that Johnathon gave
THE GIFT OF LIFE!

LIFELINE OF OHIO informed us that Johnathon's donated heart valves were indeed used for transplant. Johnathon was able to save two other children with his heart valves. One valve was sent to West Virginia for a 21 month old little boy. The other heart valve was used here in Ohio for a 2 year old little girl. My utmost and forever prayer is that these children are now able to live long and fruitful lives...My heart is lightened in knowing that a part of Johnathon's heart still beats and has contributed in the healing of other children!
