The Heavens opened wide and sang
one year ago today.
For God had chosen to call home
a child born in May.
The trumpets blew, the angels danced
the Saints began to pray.
The chosen hour was quickly approaching
there was no time for delay.
On earth a message must arrive
for heavy hearts would weigh.
A reminder to those who will grieve him
that all will be okay.
The walls caved in, the sky fell down
one year ago today.
For God had chosen to call home
our child born in May.
First fear, then panic, then shock set in
and we began to pray.
The chosen hour had come and gone
He had taken our child away.
The Holy Spirit entered our hearts
with a message to relay.
He reminded us of Gods love
and said that all would be okay.
~Johnathon~
It's hard to believe a year has gone by
the shock of your death still persists.
We just can't believe you are gone from this world
the ache in our hearts still exists.
Time has stood still these past twelve months.
A year has just vanished away.
It seems as if you were just here,
all ready to go out and play.
We have missed you and grieved you
and cried without end.
For God took our child,
our brother, grandchild, nephew,
cousin and friend.
God decided he needed a child
to join his Heavenly crew.
And in His infinite wisdom
He decided to choose you.
So He sent an angel to guide you,
to help you find the way.
No time to prepare those who love you,
He knew it would be okay.
He sent us the Holy Spirit
from the kingdom up above,
to tell us that God chose us,
and remind us of His love.
In order for Heaven to be perfect
little children must also be there.
And God chose us to make and mold you
even if it doesn't seem fair.
He decided we were worthy
and told us to be proud.
"You have a child now in Heaven,
announce it strong and loud".
"Not many humans are chosen
to endure this earthly pain,
but believe me when I tell you,
you WILL see your child again".
"A special place for you in Heaven
has been officially reserved,
Every second you spent teaching this child
was always carefully observed".
He has spoken to us and entered our hearts
and we truly believe in Him.
And we find comfort and peace in knowing...
that We WILL see you again!
The Heavens opened wide and sang
one year ago today.
For God had chosen to call home
a child born in May.
The kingdom rocked, an angel dispatched,
to help him find his way.
A banner was strung between two clouds
And inscripted it did say:
WELCOME TO HEAVEN! WELCOME HOME!
HAPPY HEAVENS DAY!
Then God took him in his loving arms
and gently He did say:
"Welcome home ~ I've missed you,
I LOVE YOU
