Welcome To Johnathon's Sports Page!

Johnathon was an all around, typical little boy, who loved to play sports. Baseball was the only sport in which he actually joined a "team". Even so, he also enjoyed to play soccer, hockey and basketball with his friends. He couldn't wait for the day when he would be old enough to join a football team. Unfortunately, when Johnathon was residing on earth, our Optimist League did not yet have "flag football". At that time, you had to be 8 years old in order to play football :**O(

The following pictures were taken at one of Johnathon's cousins birthday party in late August of 1998. They are a few of his last photos. We were delighted to see that he actually not only smiled for these pictures, but posed as well! He is the one in the back posing with the football :O)

Johnathon usually did not like to have his picture taken in a group and we often found that he was frowning in most photos. I will treasure these last two forever! A BIG THANK YOU to my sister for not only taking these, but also for giving them to me. LOVE YOU sister!

Take me out to the ball game
Take me out to the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks
I don't care if I ever get back,
'Cause it's root, root, root
For the home team.
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes
You're out
At the old ball game.
